Privacy & Security — ELY Exact PDF Size

ELY Exact PDF Size is designed around local PDF processing and minimal access.

Local processing

Core PDF analysis and compression are performed on the user’s device. Documents are not uploaded to an ELY server for processing.

Network access

Version 1.0 does not request the Android INTERNET permission. It also does not request ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE or the advertising ID permission.

No account, ads, or analytics

No account or login is required. Version 1.0 contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK, crash analytics SDK, or in-app billing SDK.

File access

The app works with PDF files explicitly selected by the user through Android’s system file picker. It does not request broad storage permissions or scan unrelated files in the background.

Signed documents

The compression flow includes a signed-PDF guard. When a PDF signature dictionary is detected, the app protects that signed document from rewrite.

Конфиденциальность и безопасность

Основная обработка и сжатие PDF выполняются локально на устройстве. Документы не отправляются на сервер ELY для обработки.

Версия 1.0 не запрашивает разрешение INTERNET, ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE или рекламный идентификатор. В приложении нет рекламных и аналитических SDK, регистрации и обязательного входа.

PDF выбирается самим пользователем через системный файловый интерфейс Android. Приложение не запрашивает широкие разрешения на хранилище и не сканирует посторонние файлы в фоне.

Для подписанных PDF используется защита от перезаписи при обнаружении словаря цифровой подписи.
